APS Schools and Government Program – 2.3 MW Various Carports and Ground Mounts – Direct Grid-Tied
The APS Schools and Government Program projects consisted of 5 separate school sites that were design build sites ranging from 37.5 kW to 750 kW. All schools, except for the exception of 1, had both a carport and driven post ground mount component. LightEdison provided full engineering services on the electrical and structural components and we utilized a third party engineer for the civil engineering. LightEdison handled the majority of the pre-construction services including, Title Report, Site Survey, Geotechnical and Shading Analysis and Pull Testing. Construction services provided by LightEdison consisted of Contract Management, Scheduling, QA/QC, Project Management, Installation Labor, As-Builts and O&M.
Motorola Table Mesa Tower Site – 47.5 kW PV with 660 kWh Battery Bank Off-Grid
The Table Mesa project was a helicopter only site. We were responsible for the installation of the Complete Off-grid system, including modules, racking, combiner boxes, DC Conduit and wiring, AC combiner Panel, Rectifier panel, battery banks and monitoring kit. The system was built on a concrete foundation ground mount racking system, including a pre-constructed metal shelter that was flown to site. Once the shelter was onsite, all major components were installed and wired. LightEdison provided full engineering services on the Electrical and Structural components, and we utilized a third-party engineer for the civil engineering. LightEdison handled the pre-construction services including, Site Survey, Geotechnical and Shading Analysis. Construction services provided by LightEdison consisted of Contract Management, Scheduling, QA/QC, Project Management, Installation Labor, As-Builts and O&M.
Bradshaw Mountain Middle School – 550 kW Ballasted Ground Mount Grid-Tied
The Bradshaw Mountain project consisted of a 550 kW Ballasted ground mount system utilizing waste concrete blocks from a local concrete company adding reused material to the project. LightEdison was responsible for the design/installation of the complete grid-tied system, including modules, racking, Inverters, combiner boxes, DC Conduit and wiring, AC combiner panel and monitoring kit. LightEdison provided full engineering services on the Electrical and Structural components, and we utilized a third-party engineer for the civil engineering. LightEdison handled the majority of the pre-construction services including, Title Report, Site Survey, Geotechnical, Shading Analysis, Pull Testing and Interconnection Application. Construction services provided by LightEdison consisted of Contract Management, Scheduling, QA/QC, Project Management, Installation Labor, As-Builts and O&M.
